Welcome to Christ Temple Bible College Private School

Angelology

This course provides a comprehensive study of angels as revealed in Scripture, exploring their nature, purpose, hierarchy, and activity within God’s redemptive plan. Students examine the biblical portrayal of angels as messengers, ministers, warriors, and worshipers, tracing their involvement from Genesis to Revelation. The course also addresses the doctrine of fallen angels, the origin of evil, and the ongoing spiritual conflict described in the New Testament.

Through careful theological analysis, learners evaluate historical interpretations, cultural misconceptions, and modern distortions surrounding angelic beings. Special attention is given to the role of angels in the life of believers, the ministry of the Church, and the unfolding of end‑time events. By the end of the course, students will possess a balanced, biblically grounded understanding of Angelology that strengthens both doctrinal clarity and spiritual discernment.

Seeing Christ In the tabernacle

This course offers a rich, Christ‑centered exploration of the Old Testament Tabernacle, following the insights of Hershberger’s Seeing Christ in the Tabernacle. Students examine the structure, furnishings, priesthood, and sacrificial system of the Tabernacle to understand how each element foreshadows the person and work of Jesus Christ. Through careful study of Exodus, Leviticus, and related New Testament passages, learners discover how the Tabernacle reveals God’s holiness, humanity’s need for atonement, and the redemptive mission fulfilled in Christ.

The course highlights the symbolic and theological connections between the Tabernacle and the gospel—Christ as the true High Priest, the perfect sacrifice, the Bread of Life, the Light of the World, and the One who brings believers into the very presence of God. Students will gain a deeper appreciation for biblical typology, covenant theology, and the continuity of Scripture from Old to New Testament.

By the end of the course, learners will be equipped to teach, preach, and apply the profound truths embedded in the Tabernacle, seeing how every detail ultimately points to Jesus Christ and His finished work.

biblical preaching

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the principles and practice of preaching grounded in Scripture. Students learn how to interpret biblical texts accurately, develop clear sermon structures, and communicate God’s Word with conviction, clarity, and pastoral sensitivity. Emphasis is placed on exegesis, theological depth, and Spirit‑led application, ensuring that preaching remains faithful to the biblical message while relevant to contemporary listeners.

Learners explore the essential components of sermon preparation—contextual study, outlining, illustration, delivery, and pastoral purpose—while examining the role of the preacher as both messenger and shepherd. By the end of the course, students will be equipped to craft and deliver sermons that honor Scripture, edify the church, and reflect the transformative power of the gospel.

roberts rules

This course provides a clear and practical introduction to Robert’s Rules of Order, the standard framework for parliamentary procedure used in churches, ministries, nonprofits, and governing boards. Students learn how to conduct orderly, fair, and efficient meetings by understanding motions, debate, voting, minutes, committees, and organizational structure.

Through real‑world examples and hands‑on practice, learners discover how proper procedure protects the rights of members, ensures transparency, and strengthens leadership within Christian organizations. The course also explores how parliamentary order supports unity, accountability, and wise decision‑making in the life of the church.

By the end of the course, students will be equipped to lead or participate confidently in business meetings, board sessions, and ministry planning gatherings using the principles of Robert’s Rules of Order.

manners and customs

This course provides an essential exploration of the cultural world in which Scripture was written, helping students understand the daily life, social structures, traditions, and practices of ancient Israel and the surrounding Near Eastern cultures. By studying the manners and customs of biblical times—family life, hospitality, dress, agriculture, worship, government, and community rhythms—students gain deeper insight into the meaning and context of Scripture.

Through historical background, archaeological findings, and careful examination of key biblical passages, learners discover how cultural understanding illuminates parables, laws, narratives, and teachings that may otherwise seem unfamiliar to modern readers. The course emphasizes how grasping ancient customs enriches interpretation, strengthens preaching and teaching, and enhances personal Bible study.

By the end of the course, students will be equipped to read Scripture with cultural clarity, recognizing how God revealed His truth within real human settings and how those settings shape the message of the Bible today.

evangelism 1 & 2

Evangelism I

This foundational course introduces students to the biblical mandate, message, and ministry of evangelism. Learners explore the theological basis for sharing the gospel, the role of the Holy Spirit in conversion, and the essential elements of communicating the good news with clarity and compassion. Through Scripture study and practical instruction, students learn how to articulate the gospel, engage in personal witnessing, and overcome common barriers to evangelistic conversations.

The course emphasizes developing a heart for the lost, cultivating spiritual readiness, and practicing evangelism in everyday contexts. By the end of Evangelism I, students will possess a solid understanding of biblical evangelism and the confidence to begin sharing their faith effectively.

evangelism 1 & 2

  Evangelism II

Building on the foundation established in Evangelism I, this advanced course equips students for strategic, culturally aware, and ministry‑focused evangelism. Learners examine evangelistic methods used throughout church history, contemporary approaches to outreach, and the challenges of presenting the gospel in a diverse and rapidly changing world.

Special attention is given to evangelism within specific cultural groups, community engagement, discipleship integration, and the development of church‑wide evangelistic ministries. Students also learn how to address objections, respond to difficult questions, and communicate the gospel in settings ranging from personal conversations to public ministry.

By the end of Evangelism II, students will be prepared to lead evangelistic efforts, train others, and build sustainable outreach strategies that reflect both biblical truth and the needs of today’s communities.

Doctoral Dissertations

This capstone course guides doctoral candidates through the full process of developing, researching, writing, and defending their dissertation. Although the journey often begins long before the formal course is launched, this structured phase provides the academic oversight, mentorship, and scholarly discipline needed to bring doctoral research to completion.

Students refine their research questions, conduct literature reviews, gather and analyze data, and produce a rigorous dissertation that contributes meaningfully to theological scholarship and ministry practice. Emphasis is placed on academic integrity, methodological clarity, and the ability to articulate findings “beyond reasonable doubt” within the broader context of Christian thought.

The course also supports students in navigating the practical realities of doctoral work — balancing ministry, life responsibilities, and the long arc of sustained research. By the end of the course, candidates will have produced a dissertation suitable for committee review and prepared for formal defense, marking the culmination of their doctoral studies at Christ Temple Bible College.
